We are (hopefully) nearing the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and some government officials are systematically lifting quarantine orders. So, when should churches and other ministries reopen and how can they prepare to do so safely? In this webinar recorded on Tuesday, April 28th, our panel provided medical, legal, and practical information (including a discussion about religious liberty concerns) to help church and ministry leaders prepare for the next phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our panel included: Dr. Cole Beeler, Infectious Disease Specialist at IU Health; Bryan Beauman, an attorney affiliated with Alliance Defending Freedom and yours truly (I addressed many of the practical concerns churches should be thinking through and planning for).
During this webinar, we discussed the following:
- Our Guidelines for Resuming In-Person Services.
- Dr. Cole Beeler’s informative PPT presentation.
- The CDC’s Draft Guidelines for Places of Worship.
Please note that this webinar was recorded via Zoom, so you will note some buffering and audio glitches common in such recordings (especially after the 40 minute mark). The content discussed during that portion of the webinar is also addressed in the Guidelines for Resuming In-Person Services.
We are praying for government officials and church/ministry leaders as they navigate this crisis. Please let us know if we can be of help to you or your ministry!

It should not have closed in the first place, so now
